Gold Dust Gecko (Postcard)

This digital painting was based off of Emmylou's photograph taken on the island of Kaua'i, Hawai'i. Although they are not endemic to the islands, Gold Dust Day Geckos can be found just about everywhere you look in the tropical kingdom. Original reference photos are also available for purchase under photographic prints.

Three hours of total work, around 4,700 brush strokes made.
